Zao- Part Three.

Published by captnrawrr under 1 Edit This

It had not been Fifteen minutes until the firefighters and police had shown up, it having starting to rain, Gabriel sitting ontop of the neighbor’s roof across the street, having been watching everything, hearing his best friend’s screams, seeing her in the window for a few seconds before she disappeared behind the mass amount of smoke suffocating her he figured. Was she going to burn to death? Gabriel was feeling nothing, he was numb, watching the firemen do their job, trying to put the fire out and get inside before it was too late.
Everything Gabriel owned was in that house, his wallet, Identification, including his ID and birth-certificate and Social security card. The pictures he had were gone; everything, his car had been in the garage, which soon blew, making the fire get larger. What was he going to do now? He was a murderer and attempted a second, if Marley were to get out live that is. If he didn’t want to spend the rest of his life in prison, which should he do? He’d need to run, get away, though that was not going to be as easy; running from the law. He had no money, he did in the bank, but, he had nothing to get it out.
“Get her identification and ask her what the hell happened!” Demanded a police Officer.
As Gabriel looked down, he saw her, Marley, alive, having a hard time breathing, but nevertheless she looked okay. He snarled, looking at the wet rooftop getting rained on. What did happen? Obviously the house had been caught on fire from the fire place. He shook his head, glowering and looking back down at Marley, Stupid bitch. He thought tightening his jaw and hand, making a fist, feeling a burning sensation. He lifted his hand out in front of him and open his hand up slowly, small flames emerging from his palm, turning into a ball; a fireball that soon disappeared from the rain leaking onto it.
Gabriel sat there, looking at his hand then to his burning house. Did he really make his fire catch to flames? Guess so. He blinked, spotting Marley, looking up at him from the back of the ambulance. She knew he was there, saw the small flame on his hand, looking frightened and Gabriel knew what he had to do.
Before police had looked up at where he had been sitting he made it down the house and into the alley, running. This was his chance, get away, become someone else, someone with a meaning, someone to become the end of all things. Zao, Just Zao. No first name, he’d start with a new identification, he’d steal one, a dead man’s identification. After all he was a sadistic bastard and he didn’t give a rat’s ass at this point of time. He had no feeling but anger, he wanted to kill and cause Chaos. He knew this is what he had to become; The Villain of the story. He killed someone for god sake and attempted to kill his best friend; the love of his life. So, why shoudn’t he be a villain? After all he mysteriously got an abnormal ability, a dangerous ability.
It wasn’t long until he had made it to his parents house, the place he did not want to be, but he had to, he needed to commit another crime. He snuck threw the back yard and into the house, up the stairs and into his parents bedroom, seeing them sound asleep, biting his lip, glaring he grabbed his father’s wallet, sliding out his ID, debit card and a couple hundreds. He was surprised he was even home, but if he wasn’t he’d be screwed right about now. Gabriel looked at them sleeping once more, placed the wallet back down onto the nightstand, sneaking out into the front yard, biting his lip, shutting his eyes and making two fists, having placed he card and ID in his wallet. Gabriel took in a deep breath, thinking of his parents. Why were they even there for him? They still neglected him, having been even more since they were going to adopt a little Ten year old boy. He growled, feeling his fists burn, opening them up, followed by his eyes that were orange, red and yellow mixed together. Gabriel couldn’t control it, he wanted to burn them, burn them to hell. He was so angry, so irritated at them that he cracked.
Seconds later he watched the big white house burn, glowering at it, the reflection of the fire dancing in his crystal blue eyes and his voice hellish. “Goodbye mother- father.”
